1. Zookpit service

Zookpit helps customers connect with participating local service professionals. Zookpit may receive a service request, identify potentially relevant professionals, transmit the request, and provide communication or status tools related to that request.

2. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Zookpit, submit or accept service requests, register as a service professional, or enroll in Zookpit SMS messaging. By using Zookpit or opting in to SMS, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Independent service professionals

Service professionals are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, or contractors of Zookpit unless expressly stated otherwise. Zookpit does not control how a professional performs work, the price they quote, whether they accept a job, or the final agreement between a customer and a professional.

4. User responsibilities

• Provide accurate and current information.
• Use the service only for lawful purposes.
• Do not submit fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or harmful requests.
• Service professionals must provide accurate business, licensing, coverage, and contact information.

5. Availability and estimates

Zookpit does not guarantee that a professional will be available, respond, arrive within a particular time, provide a quote, or complete a requested service. Any price, estimate, scope, warranty, or service agreement is between the customer and the professional unless Zookpit expressly states otherwise.

6. SMS and communications

If you separately opt in to SMS, Zookpit may send non-marketing messages related to your service request, professional account, local service opportunities, confirmations, scheduling, or service status. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase or use of the website. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may cancel SMS service at any time by replying STOP to a Zookpit message. After an opt-out request, you may receive a final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To receive help, reply HELP or contact support@zookpit.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Zookpit Privacy Policy.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse another person's information, distribute malware, scrape the service in violation of applicable law or contract, or use Zookpit to facilitate unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, or dangerous conduct.

9. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zookpit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zookpit is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from a professional's acts, omissions, pricing, work quality, delay, property damage, injury, or dispute, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, investigate abuse, or comply with law. You may stop using Zookpit at any time.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after changes become effective means you agree to the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
